DevOps Developer

client is seeking for multiple DevOps developers for a long term contract. Experience in Chef will be ideal for this role. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software installation and configuration procedures
• Enable teams for automated testing, automated release/deployment
• Contribute to and maintain system standards
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for Software installation tasks.

Desirable:

• Prior working knowledge on IBM Enterprise Content Management(ECM) products with be an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience working in cloud environment
• API integration using Java, Groovy or other similar scripting language

Experience:

• 5+ years of IT experience
• Hands-on in Unix/Linux environment
• 1+ years automating with Chef
• 1+ years in bash/power-shell scripting
